"Please Stay (Once You Go Away)" is a 1973 song written by Ed Townsend and Marvin Gaye and issued on Marvin's 1973 album, "Let's Get It On". As a mood piece type of song, it followed the similar musical path of "Let's Get It On" while produced under a shorter time period.
