SKYCITY Cinemas is a cinema operator wholly owned by SKYCITY Entertainment Group Limited, operating 97 cinema screens around New Zealand. Formerly a partnership with Village Roadshow in Village SKYCITY Cinemas, Skycity bought out the remaining shares in 2006 and now has sole ownership over the cinemas.

SKYCITY Cinemas is currently developing a new multiplex cinema in Manukau, Auckland

SKYCITY Cinemas together with Rialto Entertainment own New Zealand’s leading art-house cinema chain - Rialto Cinemas – operating 18 screens in New Zealand’s major cities.

In addition, SKYCITY Cinemas has recently purchased the Cinema 5 multiplex in Whangarei. SKYCITY Leisure’s flagship property is SKYCITY Metro - New Zealand’s most visited cinema multiplex situated on Auckland’s Queen Street. Featuring IMAX, New Zealand’s largest cinema screen, SKYCITY Metro is one of the city’s leading entertainment destinations.
