* Becky Hammon, who grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota has been representing Russia in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing as number 7 (shooting guard, point guard), averaging over 10 points a game in over 20 minutes per game. Russia defeated Spain in the quarterfinals by 19 points and plays USA in the semifinal next. Russia only lost one game, to Australia, in the group phase of the olympic tournament.
