Jeffrey D. "Jeff" Waldstreicher is an American politician from Maryland and a member of the Democratic Party. He is currently serving in his 1st term in the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Maryland's District 18 in Montgomery County.

Background

Born in Silver Spring, Maryland on December 31, 1979, Waldstreicher attended Emory University before earning a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California at Berkeley's Boalt School of Law. During law school, he externed for the Attorney’s Office for the US Northern District of California, where he prosecuted federal crimes and worked on the Enron Task Force. Waldstreicher is now an attorney with the firm Steptoe & Johnson. [http://www.steptoe.com/professionals-408.html]

Waldstreicher has been a member of House of Delegates since January 10, 2007 and serves on the House Judiciary Committee and its criminal justice subcommittee.
