Ellen Brusse

Ellen Brusse

Ellen Brusse (born October 13 1950 in Rotterdam as Elizabeth Gerardina Wenmakers), was a Dutch television hostess. She worked for the broadcasting company named TROS between 1980 and 1996, in the early ninetees she also hosted a children's televisionprogram on mathematics and science.

After 16 years she left the TROS, as she was contracted by producer Joop van den Ende. She hosted an afternoon-television show named "Tearoom" but this show was stopped quite quickly after its start. She didn't appear on television for some years, although actress Tosca Niterink performed a parody-imitation of Ellen Brusse in a popular show.

She briefly returned in 2004 in a BNN show she presented next to TV-host Filemon Wesselink. Nowadays Brusse lives in the south of France, where she works as an estate-agent.
