Rafael López Gómez, aka Rafa (born 9 April 1985 in Peñafiel, Castile and León), is a Spanish football player who currently plays defender for Getafe CF in the Spanish first division.

A product from Real Valladolid youth system, Rafa debuted with the first team in February 8, 2004, in a 2-0 defeat at RCD Espanyol.

After a 2005-06 loan at SD Eibar, he returned to help Valladolid regain top flight status in 2007, playing 21 matches in La Liga 2007-08. Rafa agreed to join Getafe CF on a Bosman transfer in April 2008.
