Mystica (band)

Mystica are Avi Peer, Joseph Master and Charlie Ben-moha, a Goa trance project from Israel. Mystica are Avi Peer, Yossi Master and Charlie Ben-Moha, all around the age of 30 and working together making trance music since 1996. They come from the town Ashdod in the south of Israel. In Israel's independence day '97, Paul Oakenfold arrived in Israel with the Perfecto Fluoro tour, Paul played Mystica's Ever Rest twice that night in the Cinerama Club, and a few days later Perfecto contacted BNE. In February 1998 Ever Rest was released on a single in Perfecto with two remixes (by Brain Bug and Tour De-Force). The single was a big success and entered the charts in Britain. Following that success they started to work on a second single and in May that year Perfecto released a second single- African Horizon. The single had two mixes by X-Cabs and another track Bliss, which became a big hit. Again the single entered the charts.The guys also released an album on Purple Trance/Planet Music in 1997 under the name One Man Game- Total Trance. Mystica's tracks where included in a number of compilations, among them: Paul Oakenfold- 2 Years of Cream, Pete Tong- Essential Collection, Global Clubbing- mixed by DJ Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold- 007: New-York, Israel's Psychedelic Trance vol. 1, Israel's Psychedelic Trance vol. 2, Future Trax, Destination Israel, Trance Mix 7, Spiritual Moves.For more than a year Mystica worked on their album in BNE and finally Age of Innocence was released in July 1999 on BNE/Dragonfly/Cosmophilia also as a double LP. They also released a single out of this album- China.Mystica plays a combination of psychedelic and classic trance with elements of folk and rock.All 3 band members come from the town Ashdod in the south of Israel. Israeli Mystica Band known as a main influence on the Goa Trance Music. The Sound that Mystica created broth the trance into the heart of the Mainstream Music.
