Is the highest point of
El Salvador , it is 2730 meters over the sea level.It is one of the most touristic places of the country and it has special speciesof animals and plants for the country. In the forest you can see at low landspinus oocarpa andpinus maximinoi at high landspinus pseudostrobus andcupressus lusitanica ,pinus ayacahuite ,abies guatemalensis ,pinus tecunumanii ,pinus apulcensis andtaxus globosa .the cloud forest in the esesmiles has rare fauna and flora for the country, it has quetzales and other endangered species for the country.
In the months of November to February the temperature is between 10 and -4 grades and the other months the temperature is between 20 and 5 grades. Is the coldest place in
El Salvador , it is also the only known place where there is snowfall in the country.
