Rubin Rafael Okotie (born June 6, 1987 in Karachi, Pakistan) is an Austrian professional footballer currently playing as a striker for FK Austria Wien.

The son of a Nigerian father and an Austrian mother, he spent the first four years of his life in the Spanish city of Barcelona.cite web|url=http://fifa.com/u20worldcup/news/newsid=552457.html#okotie+hopes+dream+final|title=Okotie hope for dream final|publisher="FIFA.com"|date=2007-07-14] As a result of his multicultural background he is eligible to represent three countries at national level, namely Austria, Nigeria and Pakistan. Okotie identifies himself primarily as Austrian, stating that "I live there, it's where I have my friends, and I think of myself as Austrian" in an interview with FIFA's website.

Club career

His Bundesliga debut was on August 5th, 2007 , in a game against SK Rapid Wien (0:0). His first goal was on February 23rd, 2008, against FC Red Bull Salzburg (3:1) in the Austrian Bundesliga.

International career

Currently a member of the Austria Under-21 side and has played for the country at under-19-level in the 2006 European championships in Poland and under-20 level in the 2007 World Cup in Canada.
