The shell is narrowly ovate, parallel-sided except for the siphonal bulge on the right-hand side. It has a low profile, with the apex within the margin near the posterior left. The surface is smooth, except for subobsolete radials, covered by a light yellowish
periostracum .The external shell coloration is a dull light reddish-brown, with the interior darker brown over the central area. The shell length is up to 16 mm, width 10.5 mm, and height 5.5 mm.
