Antony David Lane (born
June 27 ,1978 ) is an English Filmmaker/Entrepreneur. Born and raised in the North East of England, since forming his Indywood Franchise Antony has gained worldwide recognition for charity work and filmmaking. In 2007 Antony initiated a project to bring together filmmakers from around the globe to make a feature length horror movie entitledInvasion of the Not Quite Dead to be released in 2008.Biography
Antony Lane was born in
Grimsby ,England , in 1978. With a love for films since a very early age, Antony only ever wanted to be a filmmaker. After spending many years making short films and documentaries, in 2004 Antony decided to take a huge leap by enrolling on a film course at the International Film School of Wales. For his feature length "Project 21" documentary, filmed during his first year, he managed to get exclusive interviews with legendary filmmaker Ken Russell and Justin Kerrigan. By the end of his 2nd year Antony had already made a name for himself by setting up a company called Indywood, which was designed to produce and distribute Independent films and documentaries. Since graduating university in June 2007 with a 2nd class honours degree in Film Production, Antony is now working full time on his Indywood Franchise.Indywood
In 2007 the Indywood Franchise was launched, with the ultimate goal to produce a feature film. So far there is a Magazine, A film Production Company and a Charity Organisation.
Invasion Of The Not Quite Dead
Invasion of the Not Quite Dead is to be Antony's debut feature which is already being supported by such names as:Kevin Pollak ,Ken Russell ,Warwick Davis ,David Bradley (actor) , David Bailey, Rich Knight,James Gunn (film maker) ,George Romero ,Anthony Head and many more... The movie is currently in pre-production and will be released during the summer of 2008. The movie is being produced byIndywood Films and will be written/directed/produced and co-edited by Antony Lane. The movie is getting media attention due to having some of the industry's biggest names attached to the project (Ken Russell is an executive producer of the film).Charity Events
On the 21st November 2007 Indywood held its first charity event. This was In the form of a Guinness World Record Attempt for the most amount of Zombies gathered in one area. The Charity event was to raise awareness and money for Red Dragons "Help a South Wales Child" foundation. Unfortunately due to an England football game on the same night they didn't get the 895 zombies needed, instead their total was 282, setting a new Welsh Record.The event made it on National News on the 22nd November as well as many Radio Stations, Newspapers, and Magazines.
