Kansarpal

Kansarpal ( Kasarpali ( in konkani ) , Kasar = lake, Pallika = Village or abode, abode of lakes in sanskrit ) is a town in the Bicholim region of Goa, which is in the North Goa district. It is about 14km from the town of Mapusa and is the site of the 800-year-old Shri Kalikadevi Temple. It has become a site of religious value for local Hindus, who sometimes make pilgrimages to the area. The nearby Shri Mahadev Bhumika Temple is also a site of attraction.
