Linlithgow Loch is a lake situated in Linlithgow, to the west of Edinburgh, Scotland. It is to the north of the town centre, and next to Linlithgow Palace.

The loch is ¾ of a mile long and covers half a square kilometre.

Fishing and boating

The Forth Area Federation of Anglers has been responsible for the fishery since 1962.

The Scottish Canoe Association's website reports on regattas on the Loch.

Conservation

Linlithgow Loch is a Site of Special Scientific Interest or SSSI, due to its wildfowl population.

Historic Scotland has Countryside Rangers who monitor the wildlife and organise events for the public, e.g. the Big Loch Birdwatch every January.
