Tanyalee Davis

Tanyalee Davis (b. 27th November 1970) is an Canadian comedian based in Las Vegas and London. She is married to her husband, Marty.

She has the condition of dwarfism, and stands at 3-feet, 6-inches tall.

In November 1999, Tanyalee placed 2nd in the Seattle Comedy Competition. She was the first woman in 10 years to make it into the finals.

In April 2001, she headlined at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

She won the of the 2003 Norman G. Brooks Standup Comedy Scholarship Competition held at the Hollywood Improv.

In August 2003, she was part of the “US Comedy Invasion” show, performing at the world’s largest arts festival, the Edinburgh Fringe in Scotland. She then embarked on a UK tour in the spring of 2004.

In 2005, she performed as part of "Abnormally Funny People", with Steve Best, Liz Carr, Steve Day, Chris McCausland and Simon Minty. As part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe the following year she appeared with Liz Carr in "Bravetarts". In 2007 she performed her one woman show "Little Do They Know". She has also performed at various comedy events throughout the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, including "Spank", "The Bat Cave" and "Jongleurs"

Tanyalee is recognized for her multiple appearances on the "Maury" TV show where they focused on her career. She was also seen in the Austin Powers in Goldmember movie teaser, “For the Love of Money,” on MTV’s Bash and the FOX network's reality show "30 Seconds To Fame".

She is currently taking a brief time out from comedy whilst she recovers from major spinal surgery [http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2008/jul/08/comedian-davis-wont-let-anything-keep-her-down/] . Her surgery story has been filmed and will be broadcast on British television in the near future. She will be returning to the comedy circuit at the end of August with performances in Las Vegas.
