Catoctin Mountain Scenic Byway

The Catoctin Mountain Scenic Byway is a national scenic byway in central Maryland. It runs 38 miles from the Potomac River on the Virginia border north to the Pennsylvania border. The route follows US 15 through Frederick County. Some points of interest along the route are Point of Rocks, St. Paul's Church, Fort Detrick, Catoctin Furnace, Catoctin Mountain Zoo, Lourdes Shrine, and the National Shrine of Elizabeth Ann Seton.
