Song Information
"Zauberer" ("Magician")
"Zauberer" is about emotional suffering within a relationship. Once a bad relationship ends, sometimes you realize that your suffering within the relationship only made you stronger.
"Hört mein Wort" ("Hear My Word")
"Willst du mich?" ("Do You Want Me"?)
"Willst du mich" is about a man that attempts to pursue a woman of his desires, even though she may not want him. He constantly asks her "Do you want me"?
"Himmelherz" ("Heaven-Heart")
"Auf zum Mond" ("To the moon")
"Auf zum Mond" is about going to the moon. The moon and the heavens are only waiting to be explored.
"Freiheit" ("Freedom")
"Freiheit" is a song that encourages rebelling against suppression and conformity. Be proud that you are different and make sure your voice is heard.
"Herz aus Eis" ("Heart of Ice")
"Herz aus Eis" is a song about a snowman that can't help but admire the Sun's beauty. Ultimately, he is melted (along with his heart) because of his admiration of the hot and bright Sun.
"Sieh in mein Gesicht" ("Look at My Face")
"Sieh in mein Gesicht" is a song about getting emotionally abused within a relationship (similar to "Zauberer"). The message is: you can abuse me as much as you want, as long as you look into my face as you are doing it (similar to looking someone in the eyes as you lie to them).
"Mein König" ("My King")
"Mein König" is a song about Der Graf's grandfather (as stated in the album's case insert). Der Graf asks his grandfather (not known to be living or deceased?) if he is proud of his accomplishments. Der Graf also tells his grandfather that everyone (including himself) thinks they resemble one another.
"Fabrik der Liebe" ("Fabrik of Love")
"Tanz mit dem Feuer" ("Dance with the Fire")
"Tanz mit dem Feuer" is a song about soulmates. Soulmates want to spend their lives together and shares life's great experiences.
"Feier dich!" ("Free yourself")
"Zeig mir, dass ich lebe" ("Show Me I'm Alive")
"Wenn du lachst" ("When You Laugh")
"Wenn du lachst" is a song about longing. You cherish the times when loved ones are near, but you can't help but count the minutes when they are away. In the case of this particular song, a man waits in a field for his lover because she "makes his furious tears disappear."
