John Bourne (cricketer)

John Bourne (November 2, 1872 — December 23, 1952) was an English cricketer. Bourne was a left-handed batsman and a left-arm medium-pace bowler who played one match during the 1898 season.

Bourne, who batted for just a single innings in the tailend against Nottinghamshire, took two wickets when bowling for the team, bowling over 40 overs during the match. Bourne did not play another County Championship match for the side.

Bourne was born in Church Gresley and died in Burton-on-Trent at the age of 80.
