As of
September 3rd ,2007 , Middletown Township Public Schools have enlisted an additional vice principal, social worker, and district representative to help assist in the discipline problems Thorne Middle School is facing. The township also installed security cameras in the hallways of Thorne Middle School.Alternate School Program
The alternate middle school program classroom has been established. The program will begin this year. Unlike what was stated in the original outlines, the program will be taking place within the school instead of outside of it. Students part of this program will not have interactions with Thorne Middle School students while in the building. This program is designed to help assist students who have special needs including disciplinary issues.
