France . There are 15 such venues located inCaen ,Clermont-Ferrand ,Dijon ,Lille ,Limoges ,Montpellier ,Nancy ,Nantes ,Orléans ,Paris ,Pau ,Rouen ,Toulon ,Strasbourg andToulouse . The first Zénith was built in Paris in 1983 to replace thePavillon de Paris , which had been converted into a performance space after serving decades as a slaughter-house."
