Luis Alberto Maza (born June 22, 1980 in Cumaná, Venezuela) is an infielder who plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Listed at 5'9", 180 lb., he bats and throws right-handed.

Primarily a second baseman, Maza is a versatile player who can play at shortstop, third baseman and left field. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Minnesota Twins on October 28, by|1997, and started his professional career with the Gulf Coast Twins in by|1999, before joining Elizabethton (by|2000), Quad City (by|2001), Ft. Myers (by|2002-by|2003), New Britain (by|2004-by|2005) and Rochester (2004, 2005-by|2006).

Released by Minnesota after 2006, Maza signed with the Dodgers and has split time between Double-A Jacksonville and Triple-A Las Vegas. Through by|2007, he is a .276 hitter with 474 runs and a .340 on-base percentage in 862 minor league games.

He made his Major League debut as a defensive replacement for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the ninth inning against the Milwaukee Brewers on May 14, by|2008. He made his first start at shortstop the following day and went 1 for 3, getting his first career hit off of Brewer starter Ben Sheets.
