Sergio Garcia (born March 29, 1980 in Torrance, California) is a infielder in Minor League Baseball who plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers Triple-A affiliate the Las Vegas 51s.

Garcia attended High School at St. John Bosco High School, where he played center field and was a first team all league both his junior and senior seasons. He then attended Cerritos Community College, where he earned league and team MVP honors in 1999 after hitting .390 with four home runs and 47 RBI in leading Cerritos to the conference championship. He was also selected to the West Coast Conference honorable mention team in 2000 after hitting .330 with two home runs and 40 RBI. Transferred to the University of Oklahoma for the 2001 season, where he was the starting short stop and received honorable mention All-Big-12 honors while hitting .311 and recording 20 multi-hit games. Garcia transferred to Arizona State University for his senior season in 2002, where he hit .336 and led ASU to the NCAA Tournament. He had his best performance of the year against 19th-ranked USC, when he went 5-for-5 with three runs scored and three RBI. He also received honorable mention All-Pac-10 honors this season. He signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as an undrafted free agent on June 12 2002 and reported to the Gulf Coast Dodgers to begin his professional career. Split 2003 between the South Georgia Waves and the Vero Beach Dodgers. Played with the "AA" Jacksonville Suns from 2004-2006 and then was promoted to the "AAA" Las Vegas 51s at the end of the 2006 season. On July 11 2007 Garcia was suspended for 100 games for testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance for a second time. He had previously been suspended 15 games in 2005 for violating baseball's minor-league drug policy.
