Al-Hashr

Al-Hashr

Surat Al-Hashr ( _ar. سورة الحشر ) (Exile, Banishment) is the 59th sura in the 28th part (Juz) of the Qur'an with 24 ayat. The surah describes expulsion of Jewish Banu Nadir tribe from their settlements by the Medinans and states it happened by will of Allah as a result of the Jews' transgressions. Because of that it is also known as surah An-Nadir, after the tribe of Banu Nadir] . [http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/maududi/mau59.html#S59]

A verse related to the controversies of the land of Fadak.

Quran-usc|59|16

This ayah can be understood as evidence that men have free will and Satan is not responsible for their sins:

The Evil One (...) says to man: "Deny Allah. But when (man) denies Allah, (the Evil One) says: "I am free of thee, I do fear Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!"
