Scott Moscrip graduated from Texas A&M University in 1993. [ [http://aggie100.com/archive Aggie 100 ] ] During college, he met his soon-to-be wife, Anne Davidson (now Anne Moscrip), and they married. They later moved to New Plymouth. In 1995, he founded Internet Truckstop. The company soon grew, and he became an influential member of the community. In 2004, he was elected mayor of New Plymouth.

In 2007, Scott Moscrip bought a share in the newly conceived Roady's Truck Stops, a merge between Great Savings Networks and TruckStops Direct.
