Mr. Brett graduated from Academy Canada in 1999 with a Computer Programming Diploma. Unable to obtain full-time employment, he began attending night courses and self-learning programming languages. After successfully becoming a
Sun Certified Java Programmer andMicrosoft Certified Professional in 2001, he began work as a Junior Programmer with aSt. John's, Newfoundland based digital image management company.In the summer of 2002, he was laid off and created a sole-proprietor business called JaeTech Solutions out of his parents basement. JaeTech specialized in technology-related contract work around Newfoundland.
It was through this company that contact was made with an Optometrist that needed software to assist with making his office more efficient. This lead to the development of Eyesistant, the current flagship software package forMedicLINK Systems Ltd. Business career
Jonathan is currently the Founder and CEO of
MedicLINK Systems Ltd., a medical software company based out of Newfoundland,Canada .MedicLINK develops and markets software to assist medical clinics with office efficiencies and overall business growth.
