Andalusian Autonomous Government

The Andalusian Autonomous Government ( _es. Junta de Andalucía) is an organization, comprising 14 departments, seven independent bodies, and 210,000 public employees, covering a whole range of competencies.

Andalusia is the second largest (after Castile and León) of the 17 autonomous communities which make up Spain, and it accounts for one sixth of the country’s surface area and population.

Manuel Chaves González has been the president of the Spanish autonomous community of Andalusia since 1990.
