Trevor Eastwood AM is the current Non-executive Chairman of Wesfarmers Ltd. [ [http://www.wesfarmers.com.au/default.aspx?MenuID=23 Director profiles at Wesfarmers]

Mr Eastwood joined the compnay in 1963 as a cadet engineer. Mr Eastwood has been involved with Wesfarmers for over 40 years, serving as Managing Director from 1984 to 1992. In July 2008, he announced his intention to retire in November with Dr Bob Every his likely successor.

He was also a past director of Qantas and Western Australian Newspapers.

In July 2007, he authorised the biggest takeover in Australian financial history with Wesfarmer's acquisition of Coles Myer Limited.
