The New Mexico Governor's Residence is the official residence of the Governor of New Mexico and her family. It has served as the Governor's official residence since 1954.
Prior to 1954, the Governor's mansion was located in downtown Santa Fe, a neoclassical building to resemble a version of the white house was painted a light tan color. The building was deemed un-inhabitable and was torn down.
