- The Flushing International High School
The [http://flushinginternational.org Flushing International High School] opened in September 2004 and is one of nine public International High Schools in New York City that serve recent immigrants who are non-native English speakers and are affiliated with the [http://www.internationalsnps.org Internationals Network for Public Schools] . Students come from over 25 different countries and speak over a fifteen different languages. The first graduating class will celebrate its commencement in June 2008.
