Ras Ejder is a small coastal town on the border between Tunisia and Libya and Libya's most northerly point.

Transport

The town is a major transport hub for trade by road between Tunisia and Libya. Between 15th February - 15th March 2007 21,758 foreigners entered and 8112 left through Ras Ejder [cite web|url=http://www.libyaninvestment.com/libya_news_archive.php?Info=4525|title=Libyan Entry & Exit Statistics Feb-Mar 2007|accessdate=2008-02-13] .

Ras Ejder is a likely border station on the new Libyan Railways which is under construction in 2007.
