Avnei Hefetz ( _he. אַבְנֵי חֵפֶץ, "lit." precious stones), is an
Israeli settlement located on the western edge of the centralSamaria n region of theWest Bank . Thevillage , under the administrative municipal government of theShomron Regional Council , is located adjacent toTulkarm ,Einav andSal'it . The nearestIsrael i cities areNetanya to the west andKfar Saba to the southwest ,both about a twenty five minute drive away.There are four distinct neighbourhoods of Avnei Chefetz:
* Neve Chefetz - urban
* Avnei Shoham - rural
* Mitzpe Chefetz - rural
* Avnei Chen - ruralHistory
Established in 1990 by a group of
Israeli Orthodox Jewish students from the Karnei Shomron Hesder Yeshiva with help from Amana, Avnei Hefetz is now home to over 200 families, including hundreds of children. There are many institutions located on the settlement: six nurseries, six
kindergarten s, a combinedelementary school and junior high school, and a morning and eveningkollel .External links
