Information Society Technologies

Information Society Technologies is one of the thematic priorities in the European Union Sixth Framework Programme for research and technological development set for the period 2002-2006.

The research activities funded in this framework address both technical aspects (hardware, software, knowledge) and societal challenges (communication, collaborative working, education) of Information Technologies.
