Amshuverma is best known for his farsightedness and political sagacity. He arranged a matrimonial alliance for his sister with king Samudragupta of the Maurya dynasty of India, and for his daughter with the Tibetan king Srong Chong Gampo. Thus, he removed the possibility of both Chinese or Indian invasion.
