Assorted Nuts

Assorted Nuts is a comic series by Nick Barrameda that appeared in the pages of De La Salle - College of St. Benilde's official newspaper, The Benildean, for two years. It's a story of seven youngsters that are joined together by fate and the comedic adventures they share growing up.

The main cast includes: Nick (the neurotic artist), Ailyn (the intellectual), Rose (the wealthy diva), Jon (the innocent athlete), Meagan (the sarcastic tomboy), Heidrian (the precocious brat) and Dianne (the aspiring poet).

Several independent flash animations have appeared in College of St. Benilde since 2002 and the 6th episode "Funfair Mayhem" won Best 2D Amateur Animation in CiTEM's 5th Animazing Shorts competition. It is also scheduled to appear in the 1st Philippine Animation Film Festival.

Independent comic releases by the creator started since the 6th Philippine Toy Con on June 2007.
