Van Pope

Van Pope

Van Pope (born February 26, 1984 in Jackson, Mississippi) is a minor league baseball third baseman in the Atlanta Braves farm system. Listed at 6-feet and 200 pounds, Pope bats and throws right-handed. Entering 2007, he was rated by "Baseball America" as the No. 5 prospect in the Braves organization. He currently plays for the Double-A Mississippi Braves.
