Principal elements of the Philosophical Aporetic Thought

Patron was the founder of the contemporary musical thought called Aporetic Music (or just Aporetic) (France 1989). He could be remembered for his famous piano pieces: "The Ten Aporetic Tropes", a sort of programmatic table of the philosophical-musical Aporetic thought.

The inspiring principles find their roots in the work of the skeptic Philosopher Enesidèmus of Cnossus, disciple of the great Phyrro of Elis (philosopher), that wrote Ten Discourses (called Tropoi or Tropi in Greek language) on the states of the knowledge, on the human being and on the other things, reaching to one "Abstention of Judgment" following the human impossibility to individualize and to understand the absolute One, the primitive sense of the things and of the nature.

Patron, drawing inspiration from such thought brings to a further development the schematic of the unknown, affirming that the Nature has an impassable barrier that doesn't allow to deepen its knowledge over a certain limit, the Reason he stops and only the instinct is able in that case to reach the first sense of the things.

The music is the metaphysical tool that allows the human being to cross the limit imposed by the Reason, and to come therefore in proximity of the primitive knowledge, the so-called Absolute Disposition or the Chaos, governed by irrational laws.

The absolute Disposition is set in antithesis to the absolute Rational, denominated Soac, unknowable instinctually, but knowable rationally.

The international experience of the Aporetic Music founded by Alberto Patron has found application in musical field, philosophical and also physician-scientific, where some principles are applied to the anamnestic medicine with the purpose to individualize sense deficiencies of the patients, through the known exercises created by the Patron.
