American politician fromMaryland and a member of the Democratic Party. He is currently serving in his 1st full term in theMaryland House of Delegates , representing Maryland's District 6 in Baltimore County. Olszewski is a member of the Ways and Means Committee, where he serves on the Education and Revenues Subcommitees.Olszewski was born in
Baltimore, Maryland onSeptember 10 ,1982 , making him one of the youngest members of the House of Delegates. He attendedGoucher College andGeorge Washington University , then spent one year teaching before being elected.Career
Olszewski was appointed to the Baltimore County Board of Education, serving from 1999-2000. He was elected to a term on the Maryland Democratic State Central Committee, serving from 2002-2006.
He served on the Task Force to Study Raising the Compulsory Age of Education to 18 and currently is a member of the Commission to Develop the Maryland Model for Funding Higher Education.
He is currently a teacher at
Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts .He teaches a Leadership class at Goucher College
