- Phonophoresis
Phonophoresis is the use of
ultrasound to enhance the delivery oftopically applied drugs. Phonophoresis has been used in an effort to enhance theabsorption of topically appliedanalgesics and anti-inflammatory agents through thetherapeutic application of ultrasound.External links
