Autoignition=Lapachol is a natural
organic compound isolated from the lapacho tree ("Tabebuia avellandedae") [Record, Samuel J. Lapachol. Tropical Woods (1925), 1 7-9.] Chemically, it is a derivative ofnaphthoquinone , related tovitamin K .Once studied as a possible treatment for some types of cancer, lapachol's potential is now considered low due to its toxic side effects.
