History

The FBO began as the "Fort Lauderdale Jet Center" and the "Daytona Beach Jet Center" in 1988. They acquired their Miami, Orlando, Jacksonville, and LaGuardia locations all before June 2004. As these four places were fairly new to their home base their name was changed to SheltAir Aviation Services. Since the Daytona Beach and Fort Lauderdale locations had become accustomed to the Jet Center name, a two and a half year transition was planned, ending December 2006. Holland Builders

SheltAir had worked with Holland Builders for many years, as they provided them with the hangars. The two companies agreed to become part of a group of companies, forming the Holland SheltAir Aviation Group.
