Franchel Ibara (born July 27, 1989 in Brazzaville) is a footballer from Congo who played for Étoile du Congo before moving to FC Sochaux. He scored a goal from a penalty in the 59th minute against Austria in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada on the 2nd of July.

He received first cap for the national team at the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification against Chad on June 22 2008. He scored first goal at that game.

Franchel's brother Guillaume plays in the Belgian provincial football league for Entente Blegnytoise.
