The Prix d'Aumale is a Group 3 flat horse race in France open to two-year-old thoroughbred fillies. It is run over a distance of 1,600 metres (approximately 1 mile) at Chantilly Racecourse, and it takes place annually in September.

The earliest race to bear this title was first run at Chantilly in 1835. This continued until the end of the July Monarchy in 1848. The present version, introduced in 1921, was named in honour of Henri d'Orléans (1822–1897), the Duc d'Aumale. In his will the Duc bequeathed his Chantilly estate to the present owner, the Institut de France. The estate included the racecourse, the château and a precious art collection housed in the Musée Condé.

From its launch until 1939 the Prix d'Aumale took place at Chantilly. Due to World War II the race was abandoned from 1940 to 1945, and since then its venue has changed frequently. During the post-war period the event was run at Longchamp (1946–47, 1949–51, 1955), Chantilly (1948) and Deauville (1952–54). In 1956 it began a more prolonged spell at Chantilly, where it remained until 1965.

Having been originally open to two-year-olds of either gender, the Prix d'Aumale was restricted to fillies only in 1966. Also at this time the race returned to Longchamp, where it continued until 1968. The event was not contested from 1969 to 1971.

Since 1972 the venue of the Prix d'Aumale has been switched regularly between two racecourses, Longchamp (1972, 1983–96, 2002–03) and Chantilly (1973–82, 1997–2001, 2004–present). The race has held Group 3 status since 1979.
