Einst Alchemie (meaning "once alchemy" in German; called Einst Alfimi in the North American localization) is a fictional character in the Super Robot Wars series. In canon, she pilots the Persönlichkeit.

Personality And Traits

Alchemie tends to speak in strange, unintelligible phrases. With the appearance of a 10-year old girl, she is very mystical, and carries a deep attraction for Kyosuke Nanbu and Excellen Browning. Alchemie is also quite curious about her human heritage, after being subjected with a lot of affection from both of them, which becomes a stumbling block in her allegiance with the Einst.

History

Impact And Original Generation 2

When the Einsts captured Excellen Browning, after a shuttle crash during her youth as a cadet pilot, they created a loyal, cryptic clone named Alchemie, and stayed with the rest of the Einsts as they sent Excellen back to Earth from their dimension. When the Einst decided to wipe out the world in order to restart it, they sent Alchemie to convince Kyosuke Nanbu to join them, whom they designated as the new "Adam", the one allowed to survive and rebuild the new world the Einst envisions. He refuses, thus Alchemie captures and brainwashes Excellen to fight for the Einsts, all while mutating her Weiss Ritter, as a means to coerce Kyosuke. Unfortunately, the Einst believes their new brainwashed recruit outlives her usefulness, after Alchemie repeatedly fails to bring Kyosuke to them, and breaks off their hold on Excellen.

Eventually, Kyosuke, Excellen and their allies come face to face with the Einst leader, Neue Regisseur, who makes its appearance after Alchemie fails to defeat her enemies in the Einst dimension. The Neue Regisseur makes it clear Alchemie no longer serves the Einst any purpose and discards her. With Alchemie's curiosity reaching its peak, she decides to defect from her makers, and support Kyosuke and Excellen in their final battle. The Neue Regisseur is destroyed, and all Einst elements in the universe fades away.:Original Generations retcons the appearance of the Neue Regissuer; in its place is the Stern Neue Regisseur.

Unfortunately, because Alchemie is also part-Einst and being unable to leave her life-supporting Persönlichkeit, she starts to fade, too, leaving a distraught Kyosuke and saddened Excellen behind. The conclusion of Impact and Original Generation 2 features Excellen in a conversation with Kyosuke, who tells him if she they ever have a baby girl, she would name their child Alchemie.

Original Generation Gaiden

Alchemie manages to survive her fading away, but at the cost of losing her memories and the Persönlichkeit, while her soul keeps drifting near endlessly in space. As it becomes increasingly difficult to sustain herself, she encounters a near-comatose Axel Almer, floating inside the cockpit of his damaged Soulgain, near the area of the decimated White Star. To ensure their survival, Alchemie merges herself within Axel's body. When the Soulgain is found by the Cry Wolves after their mission in the White Star, its members discover Axel unconscious, stripped of his clothing, though neatly folded by his side. It is speculated that Alchemie did this during the merging.

It would take six months for Axel to recuperate in Professor Eric Wong's laboratory, yet he still did not awake; neither did Alchemie. It is only until the Jetzt, the Earth-made variant of the Einst running loose in the lab did Axel reawaken, and volunteers to contain the Jetzt. It is then Alchemie finally rematerializes fully, along with a resurrected Persönlichkeit and assists Axel in destroying them. Unfortunately, many of the specimens escape, thus Alchemie and Axel task themselves to pursue the remnants.

After defeating the rest of the Jetzt, Alchemie unknowingly joins alongside the Earth Federation Army to defeat Duminuss, the Dark Brain and Shu Shirakawa. With Earth at relative peace again, Alchemie choses to wander the universe with Axel, rather than reunite with Excellen. As the two leave, Excellen playfully comments on both of them being the new "Adam and Eve".
