Lyne Water

Lyne Water

Lyne Water is a river which rises in the Pentland Hills of southern Scotland at Baddinsgill Reservoir and runs through West Linton and Romannobridge before passing by Flemington and Lyne Station before entering the River Tweed to the west of Peebles. It floods regularly in winter and occasionally in summer. There is free fishing above Flemington Bridge and below Flemington is part of the Peebles fishing authority.
