Kitty Ferguson spent her childhood in Texas where she developed an interest in astronomy and physics. While spending a year in England while her husband was a Visiting Fellow at Cambridge University, Ferguson rekindled her early passion for science. After her return to the United States she began writing her highly successful books on science and currently lives in New Jersey.
