John Carnochan is an animation
film editor . He is responsible for editing some of the best animated films in recent years. ForDisney he edited "The Little Mermaid " in 1989, "Beauty and the Beast " in 1991, and "The Lion King " in 1994. He edited the third film withTom Finan . These three films are usually considered 3 ofDisney best. Upon completion of "The Lion King", many Disney employees leftDisney with PresidentJeffrey Katzenberg to work atDreamworks Animation . Carnochan was one of them. He edited Dreamworks's 2nd film, "The Road to El Dorado ", withDan Molina . After "El Dorado" was completed, Carnochan didn't stay atDreamworks . He left to go to20th Century Fox to work atBlue Sky Studios where he edited their first film "Ice Age " in 2001 and their second film "Robots" in 2005, both directed byChris Wedge .
