The 47 Drake (often abbreviated as the 47D) was a
PCC trolley line that was part of thePittsburgh Light Rail system. The 47D was the last line in the city ofPittsburgh ,Pennsylvania to be used solely for PCC streetcars. It originally was part of an interurban trolley line that ran from Pittsburgh to Washington until 1953, when the line, along with the Pittsburgh-Charleroi interurban which it branches from, were cut back to the Allegheny county border at Drake and Library respectively.
