Bernd Hahn was an East German
luge r who competed from the mid 1970s to the early 1980s. He won two gold medals in the men's doubles event at theFIL World Luge Championships (1974, 1981).Hahn also won four medals in the men's doubles event at the
FIL European Luge Championships with three silvers (1973, 1978, 1980) and one bronze (1975)He also finished fourth in the men's doubles event at the
1980 Winter Olympics inLake Placid, New York .After retiring from luge, Hahn worked as a luge coach for
Canada ,France , and (since 2006)Russia References
