Norman Robert Young (
July 1 ,1915 -December 25 ,1983 ) born inAstoria, New York was aFirst Baseman for the New York Giants (1936, 1939-42 and 1946-47),Cincinnati Reds (1947-48) andSt. Louis Cardinals (1948).He helped the Giants win the 1936 National League Pennant.
