NoDQ Wrestling Battle Arena

NoDQ Wrestling Battle Arena is a turn based free fantasy wrestling Text Based RPG. The game follows a storyline and the users can fight against computer or other users. The graphics are text and 2D static pictures. You move around in the map trying to defeat other wrestlers to gain experience and money. The game also includes a storyline involving an evil wrestler called Emperor.

Gameplay

In most of the game the player will be searching and fighting other characters. In a singles match the players take turns attacking other using different moves to decrease health points. The user may choose to attack the opponent using three type of moves attack, submission or defense. When the health bar has decreased considerably the user may pin the opponent(if the wrestlers are in the ring) to win.Once the match is over and if the user has won he gains some experience and money. After gaining certain experience the character moves on to a next level. Some points become available to the user at the end of each level. These points can be used to increase attack, defense and submission.

Story line

The storyline involves the world being taken over by an evil man called emperor. He started out as wrestler but turned to politics and won. There are several in game missions to complete as game proceeds.

Stats

Armor: The equipment that the character wears to increase his attack, submission or defense. Does not work on signature moves.

Move limits: The minimum number of times a use can be used without decreasing Health.

Alignment differences: The type of character chosen Face, Tweener and Heel.

Stamina: If the stamina of the wrestler is below 100% at times the moves will not be executed perfectly.

Stables: The changes in damage and money of the stable to which the character, if any, belongs.

Types

Every user has the freedom of choosing the type of character he wishes. The choices available are Cruiserweight, Normal, Submission Guru, Monster, Hardcore, Giant and cheater. Each type has its own specialty even set of moves. For example, a cruiserweight wrestler has a high evasion percentage and a hardcore wrestler is most effective in Hardcore matches.

Map

Navigation is done by clicking on the arrows pointing in different directions. There are different types of area in a map are shown in different colors, signifying places like emergency room, #1 contender arena, training room, alignment of an area etc.Emergency room is where the health is restored a losing it in a match and will be frequently visited during the game.Training room serves to increase the stamina of the wrestler and will be another frequently used area.
