Bryan William Redpath (born
July 2 ,1971 inGalashiels ) is a formerrugby union player, and a member of the Scottish line of scrum-half|plural=yes that includeGary Armstrong ,Roy Laidlaw ,Alan Lawson ,Chris Cusiter andMike Blair .Redpath won 60 caps playing for Scotland, captaining team on a number of occasions. His appearances included two Rugby World Cups in 1999 and 2003.
Bryan played for
Sale Sharks in the English Premiership. He is nicknamed "Basil" after the TV glove puppetBasil Brush .Redpath retired from international rugby following the
2003 Rugby World Cup and is now the backs' coach atGloucester RFC .External links
